Dr. Abu-Gheida, clinical director of radiation oncology at Burjeel Medical City, is a leader in oncology. He chairs the Emirates Oncology Society's Radiation Oncology Work Group and represents the Middle East and Africa on the RSNA committee. Graduating with honors from the American University of Beirut, he completed medical school and residency there. He furthered his training at Cleveland Clinic and MD Anderson Cancer Center, specializing in breast, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancers. Dr. Abu-Gheida spearheaded the establishment of Burjeel's radiation oncology department and has chaired numerous international oncology conferences. With over 40 peer-reviewed papers and contributions to esteemed medical journals and books, his expertise shapes the field.
