Dr. Atlal Abusanad, MBBS, MSc, ABIM, FRCPC, CIP, is a medical oncologist and Associate Professor at King Abdulaziz University and Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She completed medical oncology and Clinician-Investigator fellowships at McGill University, with an MSc in Experimental Medicine focused on molecular oncology and breast cancer. Dr. Abusanad leads the Breast Cancer Unit at KAUH, contributes to national oncology committees, and has been recognized by ASCO for her blog contributions. Her research spans clinical breast oncology, survivorship, molecular oncology, and oncologist wellbeing. She is an active volunteer, TEDx speaker, and member of Zahra Association’s scientific committee.
