Dr. Aslani graduated from a radiation oncology programme in Iran in 1996, ranking first nation-wide in her speciality exam. She then moved to Canada where she completed residency programmein radiation oncology at McGill University Canada, and obtained Fellowship of the Royal College Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) and board certification in radiation oncology in 2007. She obtained the American Board of Radiation Oncology in 2008. She then moved to the UAE and has been working in Gulf International Cancer Center asa consultant radiation oncologist since 2007. She is a strong advocate of practicsng integrative and holistic oncology; addressing the mind, body and spirit of patients in combination with the latest standard medicine. She is a North American Menopause Society (NAMS) Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP). She also obtained the American Board in Anti-Aging Medicine (ABAARM) in 2020.
