Dr. Terry Mamounas, MD, MPH, FACS is Medical Director of the Breast Program at AdventHealth Cancer Institute and a board-certified breast surgical oncologist with over 30 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Athens, completed his surgery residency at McKeesport Hospital, and pursued oncology fellowships at the University of Pittsburgh and Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Dr. Mamounas serves as Professor of Surgery at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Clinical Professor at Florida State University. Since 1997, he has chaired the Breast Cancer Committee of the NSABP and NRG Oncology, publishing extensively in the field.
