Dr. Faeqa Hami is a Consultant in Palliative Medicine at Mediclinic City Hospital, Dubai. She qualified from the Royal Free Hospital and School of Medicine, University of London in 1991 and initially trained in Anaesthesia before pursuing Palliative Medicine in North London. Appointed Consultant at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust in 2002, she served as Clinical Lead for the Specialist Palliative Care Team, Trust Cancer Lead, and Clinical Director for Specialist Services, while also chairing the Thames Valley Palliative and Support Services Network. An advocate for patient-centered care, Dr. Hami emphasizes the patient and carer experience, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize symptom management, psychological support, and advance care planning. She is also an educator and examiner for PLAB exams.
