Dr. Almurtadha is a UK-certified (CCT) medical oncology consultant with a special interest in managing gastrointestinal malignancies. Dr. Almurtadha earned his M.B.Ch.B. from the University of Babylon’s College of Medicine. His extensive experience in the oncology field includes working at renowned hospitals and trusts across the United Kingdom. He completed his specialty training in medical oncology from The Royal College of Physicians and the Association of Cancer Physicians of the United Kingdom. To further enhance his expertise, he was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Oncology from the prestigious Institute of Cancer Research: Royal Cancer Hospital. As a member of the esteemed regional oncology team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust in the United Kingdom, Dr. Almurtadha demonstrated a passion for innovation in cancer care. His active involvement in clinical trials and research activities involved leading trials as a principal investigator and co-investigator in pancreatic, liver, and bowel cancers.
