Dr. Buthaina Bin Belaila graduated from the Faculty of Medicine UAE, Bachelor of Medicine and General Surgery, Arab board of family medicine, and leadership program of young women. She was the head of HTN Committee in HOHAP and a Deputy of the National NCD Committee. In 2015 she launched WHO ISH/CVD/ risk assessment tool. She also Launched UAE national NCD plan 2017-2021. Dr. Buthaina Bin Belaila integrated NCD services in primary healthcare centers and launched NCD care plan and recovery plan during covid-19. She is currently working on national DM and obesity national plan, national CVD prevention plan and national cancer control plan.
