Dr. Jean El-Cheikh is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and a bone marrow transplantation expert at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC). He received his MD from the University of Naples, with advanced training in Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation from the University of Bologna. He has worked at the Institute Paoli-Calmettes and NK Basile Cancer Center before joining AUBMC. Dr. El-Cheikh is an active researcher with 170 PubMed-indexed articles and focuses on haploidentical transplants, reduced-toxicity regimens, and immunomodulation. He is also the president of Revive Blood and Cancer Patients Association and a vice president of Secour Populaire Libanais.
