Dr. Mohamed Samy Elhammady, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Neurosurgery Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Neurological Institute. Previously, he was an Associate Professor at the University of Miami, where he directed Minimally Invasive Cranial Neurosurgery and co-directed Neuroendovascular and Skull Base Surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Mansoura, Egypt, and completed his neurosurgery residency and fellowships at the University of Miami and the Center for Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery, Sydney. An American Board–certified neurosurgeon, he has authored over 80 publications and specializes in neurovascular disease, complex brain tumors, and minimally invasive spine surgery.
