Dr. Nahed Balalaa, MBBCh, MRCS, holds both Arab Board and European Board certifications in General and Breast Surgery. She is a Consultant Breast Surgeon at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi, with 18 years of experience focused on breast disease, breast cancer, and oncoplastic surgery. Dr. Balalaa is known for her leadership in medical education, research, and advocacy, actively participating in breast cancer awareness campaigns and workshops. She holds an Executive Master’s in Healthcare Administration and is a core faculty member in SSMC’s General Surgery Residency Program, as well as an adjunct professor at Gulf Medical University and Khalifa University.
