Dr. Márquez’s expertise spans the multidisciplinary prevention and treatment of vulvar, vaginal, cervical, uterine, fallopian tube, primary peritoneal, and ovarian cancers, utilizing surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. His work includes Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (IPCT) and clinical research on novel therapeutics for ovarian, uterine, and cervical cancers. He serves as a Principal Investigator (PI) for several prospective clinical trials and is a frequently invited lecturer at national and international conferences. Dr. Márquez also co-directed the 6th MD Anderson International Meeting in Gynecologic Oncology: Embracing New Standards of Care in Gynecologic Cancers and the 7th MD Anderson Cancer Center International Meeting in Gynecologic Oncology: The Times, They Are A-Changin’.
