Dr. Thuraya Nassir Al Hajri is a Consultant in Radiation Oncology and Head of the Radiotherapy Department at the National Oncology Centre, Royal Hospital, Muscat, Oman. She has been instrumental in advancing cancer care in the country, most notably by leading the introduction of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), bringing greater precision and improved outcomes to patients. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Al Hajri has contributed to the development of national guidelines for cancer screening and management, helping shape standards of care in Oman. Her academic work includes research and publications on rare dual primary malignancies and other oncology topics. Widely recognized for her leadership and expertise, Dr. Al Hajri continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening radiation oncology services in Oman.
