Prof. Valentina Guarneri, MD, PhD, is Full Professor of Oncology at the University of Padova and Director of the Oncology 2 Division at the Istituto Oncologico Veneto. She also leads the Specialty Programme in Medical Oncology, the multidisciplinary Breast Unit, and the Master’s Programme in Clinical Research in Oncology. After completing her oncology fellowship in 2003 and PhD in 2007, she trained at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she later served as Visiting Assistant Professor. She previously held academic and leadership roles at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia before joining Padova in 2013.
