Dr. Stephen Freedland is a leading urologist and researcher at Cedars-Sinai, where he directs the Center for Integrated Research in Cancer and Lifestyle. He specializes in prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia, integrating traditional and holistic approaches to patient care. His research focuses on the effects of diet, lifestyle, and obesity on prostate cancer, as well as racial disparities and risk stratification. Dr. Freedland has published over 700 studies and serves on several editorial boards. He earned his MD from UC Davis, completed his residency at UCLA, and his fellowship at Johns Hopkins. Prior to Cedars-Sinai, he was at Duke University.
