Prof. Timothy Cloughesy is a Distinguished Professor of Neurology at the David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA, where he directs the Neuro-Oncology Program and the Henry Singleton Brain Cancer Research Program, and co-directs the UCLA Brain Tumor Center. Board certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology, with UCNS Neuro-Oncology certification, he has led pioneering clinical trials in glioblastoma, including the development and approval of bevacizumab. His research spans therapeutic, translational, imaging, and biomarker-driven studies, supported by a brain cancer bioinformatics database he established. Dr. Cloughesy has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and is recognized as a global leader in brain cancer research.
