Dr. Ugur Selek, MD, FASTRO, is a distinguished radiation oncologist based in Istanbul, Turkey. He graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1997 and completed his Radiation Oncology Residency at the same institution in 2001. Dr. Selek further honed his expertise at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, specializing in IMRT and Stereotactic Radiotherapy. With a wealth of experience, he holds positions as the Past Chair & Professor of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Koc University School of Medicine and serves as an adjunct Professor at U.T. M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Selek is a prolific author and editor, recognized as an ASTRO Fellow in 2019 for his contributions to the field.
